The rooms were a delight, quite well-fitted and spacious. I don't remember having qualms about the rooms or the service. I didn't get to stay long, but later headed off to a good strip club I know to unwind further (and dance a little). I am sure I'll be back, and since they seem to be improving the place, my return grows more imminent by the day.

One of the best things about Rainbow Cabaret is that it does not claim to be the most perfect bathhouse in all of Tampa. It knows that it still needs a bit of work, and as a result offers you what it has. In other words, Rainbow Cabaret is perfect if you are looking for something simple, and you know what you need. On a good day, Rainbow Cabaret will be full of sexy hunks sweating off and drying off and flitting about. Also on a good day, you'll find it spacious, smelling well, clean, airy and full of excited staffers. Even the good, newer lockers will still be available. If you can change a good day, you'll have a great time. This place isn't good for cynical, judgment people that expect too much from every bathhouse. There are establishments that aren't perfect, but still give you an evening's worth of fun. Rainbow Cabaret does not boast huge crowds every day of the week, but when the crowds do come, it gets wild. In my experience, this club is perfect as a starter to a day of relaxation. Start your day here and finish at another gay club in Tampa, or a sexy strip club. It worked well for me, and it would wonders for you. After relaxing off here and meeting an interesting Canadian, we stepped out and headed to a famous Gay strip club that I love and ended the night there. In other words, Rainbow Cabaret is also a great location for cruising about if you know what to do. In fact, I have already recommended it to a good friend of mine.

Pros

I really loved my time here; I had an absolutely wonderful time. The amenities here were some of the best I've seen, especially the rooms and their amenities. The rooms had a TV, private lockers and a mattress. That's exactly what I needed after a day of relaxing and walking around nude. I've got to point out the man candy that's always available here - so much to choose from all the time. One of the best bits about visiting Rainbow Cabaret was the weed. I did so much coke without anyone looking my way or judging me, and it was both exhilarating and freeing. In other sex clubs, there is always someone judging you. Good thing even the staff here looked a bit high the whole time, so we had no problem. I just liked that they weren't too strict with us. As for the membership, I loved that Rainbow Cabaret had a daily membership option, because some of us just cannot afford the whole yearly membership option. Besides, I was only checking in for one day, so I really needed that daily membership option. Rainbow Cabaret is really a bathhouse, and I just wish the team here was more open about the nature of their establishment more. It's refreshing that this club is easy to access, and was built with gay or bi-curious men in mind. There are many gay sex clubs in Tampa, but not all are as clean and as spacious as Rainbow Cabaret. In fact, most can't match the free, judgment-free atmosphere of Rainbow Cabaret, so it's always an easy choice for me.

Cons

There were a few bits about Rainbow Cabaret that didn't quite sit down well with me. But they aren't that great, because they didn't really deter me from having a great time while here. The first bit that bugged me was that I wasn't checked that well before arrival. If anything, I was rushed into entering the premises, which should have been a red flag on its own. Driving up, I felt like I was getting lost but then I saw the club, and then I realized it was in a seedy neighborhood. Wouldn't have been much of a worry, but I don't like seedy neighborhoods. Thank God they have sort of sensible parking. Also, the club didn't really fill up with people until later on after I'd arrived, which was a bit disappointing. Bathhouses aren't so much fun if you're alone. When I got inside, one of the first bits I noticed was that the floor felt a bit rough and trippy, like it hadn't been done well. You feel this when you take off your shoes. It was also a little too dark on the inside; I don't know if all Tampa bathhouses do this on purpose. Against my wishes, the air inside felt a bit stale too, adding to the general feeling of subpar. There weren't many staffers around to direct people anyway, so I just had to find my way around. The two I could find looked strung up on the worst drugs anyway. Some of the bathhouse facilities weren't up to par, and the towels here are really small size only. The locker I got didn't want to close even when I used a padlock. The worst part is that no booze is sold here.
