Club Labyrinth NYC Sex Club Review

INTRODUCTION:

When I was in my first long term relationship, I thought it was pretty natural to still want to sleep with other people, but the idea started to consume me. Not that I wasn't attracted to my partner, because i was, and we had a great sex life, but I still wanted more. I'm sure this feeling contributed to the end of that relationship, but I learned a lot about myself, and now I am committed to the swinging lifestyle, and have a partner who feels the same way. And being in New York City means the choices to explore are pretty much endless.

We didn't meet at Club Labyrinth, but it quickly became our go-to sex club, because it's no-fuss. no-muss, just straight ahead good dirty fun on three different floors in midtown-Manhattan.

ABOUT:

Club Labyrinth doesn't mess around. Over the four nights it's open, it offers a little bit for everyone, no matter there kink is. As long as you want to meet up with a lot of hot couples and even single people who are down for some action, this is the place for you. First, you have to become a member, and $30 per person for the year, but if you're just in New York City for a trip, it's $10 for one night. But on top of that is the door charge for whatever night you're coming on, and that's usual $40 per couple, $80 per single man, and free for women. It's a little bit steep, but as soon as you walk inside you can see where your money is going. They certainly aren't making money off drinks, since they don't serve any alcohol, although you can bring your own (with a bottle fee) and they provide mix.

The place is a three storey sex wonderland, with plenty of open, private, and semi-private places to play, showers on every floor, and condoms, lube and towels completely complimentary. It might be overwhelming initially, so they offer a tour for first-timers. We came on Anything Goes Wednesday, which embraces anyone who is down with bi-swinging lifestyle, and were told that there are themes throughout the week, including Orgy Thursdays, and a kink-oriented one on Saturdays. It's a great mix of fantasies.

The small refreshments area is really helpful to have a bit of a mingling area, because other than that, the whole place is open for people who are ready to get it on, with some floors being 'naked only', and other areas being setup like a darkroom, where hands and everything else can go anywhere.

CONCLUSION:

There's no labyrinth in Club Labyrinth, but I won't hold that against them, because I'm too busy having a really great time. The whole three storey space is a wonderful play-space to explore, and there's always a ton of people there on Friday and Saturday night, so you'll definitely have a great time (although going with your partner while definitely be a lot more rewarding than going alone). The kind and attentive staff means you'll always feel safe while partying here.

New York City has always offered a lot of choice for people who wanted to take a walk on the wild side, and even though it feels like the city has kind of cleaned up over the years, you actually don't have to look that hard to find some old style dirty fun, and Club Labyrinth is happy to oblige.

Pros
  • My partner and I can't get enough of Club Labyrinth, because there's such a great collection of different theme events every week. From bisexual fun to orgies to some BDSM. In some ways this place is like three or four sex clubs in one. And because it's such a large space it's easy to unwind and find a little nook or cranny that's perfect you, your partner and any new friends you may have just met. Having showers on each floor is also a great set up. Not only is it a good way to quickly wash off, but they're rather spacious, so you can bring other people in to just get dirty all over again.

The staff there is great, very friendly and encouraging, and on our first visit we were very appreciative that one of them took time out of their busy schedule of setting up for the night to give us a quick tour. It really puts you at ease when you know that there is a good level of organization at a place like this, and it's the right frame of mind to be in to actually have a good time here.

Cons
  • The biggest problem with Club Labyrinth will sound slightly unfair at first. It's annoying that they let single men in each and every night. At some other sex clubs, maybe there's only a night or two where single men can attend. Here, even though it's more expensive for them, there is a high proportion of single men, and that can get quite awkward. I know the owners will strive for a balance between men and women, and couples guarantee that, but so many more single guys come here than gals, and it can get kind of awkward. I would really enjoy it if one weekend night it was couples only.

I can't recall ever seeing the $20 surcharge for bringing in your own alcohol, but it's very disappointing, since it seems like more of a cash grab than a way to keep people clear headed (which is their claim). Most people go to a bar if they want to get drunk, and they come here if they want to have sex, but it shouldn't cost that much if we want to have a beer or two while we socialize. It would be nice if they switch the linen and sheets a bit more often, but that would certainly push the prices up if they had to hire more staff. Finally, I found that the smoking area's a bit small. I don't even smoke, but as a place to quickly step out and get some air, it's not the best.
