When I went to the The Lad's Locker Roomfor the first time, it was an epic night and an amazing occasion. My friend was celebrating 'coming out of the closet." He wanted to do something that he had never done before and I suggested a bathhouse or gay sauna. He was kind of scared at first, but with some coaxing, he agreed and was never sorry about the decision because he noted afterwards that it was the best decision he had ever made. When we walked into this gay sauna, or bathhouse, it was clean, well decorated, stylish, and amazingly maintained. For a few enthusiastic and handsome young guys, this was important; especially since we would eventually become repeat patrons. I felt like I was valued because someone went to the trouble to make me feel special and dolled up the place for me. Well, that is how I felt at the time and I think I still feel the same way today. I think the owners invested time and money in this facility as it shines on the inside and out. I guess that is why it is so packed with customers every time that we go. They guys there were our age; most of them in their mid twenties to late thirties. On Tuesdays, they have "Naked Tuesdays" where the fun really begins. On Wednesdays, the place is also packed and brimming with gays who visit after work not only to use the sauna facility, but also to meet new people and get their groove on.

The bar staff and other staff members are courteous and helpful, if you have any questions. The club's name by itself is enough to describe the essence of what it is all about. In fact, with that name, you know exactly what you are getting into. The only thing is that anything that happens in the gay bathhouse is going to be up to you. In the bathhouse, you will find lots of lads and multiple lockers; thereby the appropriate use of the name. There is a cyber desk too, if you want to go surfing the Internet. Check out the relaxation therapy rooms, if you want to let go of the stress of the day and unwind. I used this area a lot and it always words and then I would go into the steam room, Jacuzzi or sauna. I found the lunge areas to be quite accommodating and comfortable; a place where I have met a few guys and chatted for a bit and then if we liked each other, we would go make out in one of the private rooms available.

The Lad's Locker Room is one of the busiest gay bathhouses in the city of Bristol since 2014. I visit the place about midnight on any given night until 4:30AM when it closes. If you are in the establishment at 3:30AM, you don't have to leave until closing time. But, if you are outside at 3:30AM, you are not allowed to come in. What goes on in the Lad's Locker Room will usually stay inside unless you are recommending it to someone as I am doing right now. There is a good mixed crowd; most of whom are gay. You will definitely find some straight couples lingering around and indulging in foreplay of some kind, but don't be alarmed. Just mind your own business and do YOU! You have to pay an entry fee, if you are not a member, which I had to do on my first occasion. It was OK though because I got to use all the amenities in the facility. The music is not all that great, but it is possible that they may change the DJ who seems to be selecting the music for himself, but that is not the worst thing that can happen. The atmosphere is very friendly and eclectic. The bar staff are helpful and courteous. The Jacuzzi is clean and hot, but two bonuses that I loved were the designated smoking area and the grass floor. I would highly recommend that you get a weekend pass to see how well you like it.
