If you keep walking through the halls, you'll eventually find the lounge area. It's right in the middle of the bathhouse. I wouldn't say that it was very relaxing but it was exciting. There were places to sit and watch all the gay porn that you wanted which was playing on the TVs. There were private rooms but I didn't actually see any guys using them. They're probably a lot more popular at night or on the weekends. Most of the guys were hanging out in the lounge or in the sauna. There was also a gym and I saw about three guys who were working out but I didn't stop to chat. Still, it was pretty cool to see that they had a gym area if I needed one. This place is so big that it's really easy to get lost. I'm sure that it gets really packed up though since I know that it's a gay man's dream. In my experience, it's the best place for cruising because there are tons of places to get intimate and have sex with other gay guys.

Lockers that you can rent: The lockers are great so you can keep your stuff safe. But it's also a good place to store your clothes so you can get naked easier and faster. You can pay to lock up your stuff for as long as you're at the bathhouse.

Private rooms to play in: Playing in private is fun. There are tons of rooms you can do it in. The rooms come in different sizes so you can pack as many people as you want in them. The XLarge and Xtreme rooms have the most stuff in them. I tried out one of the rooms with televisions so I could watch porn to get me hard and also because I was curious. There are also rooms with sex swings and other equipment to give you a specific kind of experience.

If you're planning on checking out Steamworks, there are a few tips that I have to make sure you have a good time. First, you need to go there early. Sometimes you can wait up to 45 minutes to get in if you after 9 pm, especially on a Friday or Saturday. This isn't the type of place where you can just drop in on the weekend and expect to get in right away. Second, make sure that you bring cash and a credit card with you. The cash is easier but the credit card means that you won't have to worry about topping up every single time. Also, if you're looking for a party, you have a chance 4 nights a week. There's even a DJ. The third thing that you should do is make sure that you're stocked up on condoms and lube. You can keep them in your pocket or in your locker but just make sure that they're handy. You're going to need them. Fourth and finally, read up on the history of the place. It's not necessary but it gives you a better appreciation for bathhouses in general and especially what the gay community has gone through. I think you can tell I really liked Steamworks. I could spend every weekend here and still not explore everything. That's what makes it a very good gay bathhouse.
