INTRODUCTION:

My wife and I are swingers (or, members of the "lifestyle" if you prefer), so typically when we go away on vacation, we like to go to a city that has a healthy swingers scene. We did a little bit of research about Montreal, since we had heard so many times that it was one of the sexiest cities in North America. Of course if you're one of the sexiest cities in North America, you better have at least one awesome swingers club, and thankfully L'Orage Club, located right in downtown Montreal did not disappoint.

Both my wife and I hadn't traveled outside of the USA in a while, so we had to renew our passports before w booked our trip to Montreal. I felt a bit like James Bond, but my wife said that she didn't think it was a big deal, and to just relax. Whatever.

Club L'Orage has 3 main nights, and a 4th night on holiday weekends. Saturday night seemed like it was their most popular night, and we love to bring single women into our fun, so it was perfect timing. We could have saved a little bit of money by going on Thursday, but we decided that we had renewed our passports for this, so no need to cheap out!

ABOUT:

L'Orage Club is a high end swingers club in the heart of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, which requires a membership to attend. We tried to haggle them down a bit on the membership fee since we were from out of town, and wouldn't be coming back again, but had no luck. We paid our $80 membership fee, and then our $60 couple's admission.

The club has a dress code, and I almost wasn't let into the club because I was wearing a pair of sneakers. Thankfully we had driven there, and I had a pair of dress shoes in the car. They were really expensive sneakers though..

The facilities are quite nice, and when my wife and I arrived around 10 pm, we worried we might be there a little bit too early. Since it would be our only night t the club though, we wanted to spend as much time there as we could. Thankfully the club was full of members already, who I guess only get one to three nights of the club a week, so why not get as much time in as possible, right?

Featuring a great lighting setup, lots of public play areas, Club L'Orage is a cool spot full of really hot French Canadian swingers (and single women) looking to have a good time.

The club holds a BDSM night on Sundays before public holidays, which seemed fun, but we didn't go on a holiday weekend unfortunately. Maybe next time, since we have our memberships now!

FEATURES:

-Open Thursday to Saturday, 9:30pm to 3:00am, and on Sundays before a public holiday

-Thursday nights are Sexy Lounge Evening nights, which is allows couples, as well as single women and single men to attend at a cheaper rate since it's not the weekend yet

-Friday nights are Trio Evening, and single women and men are allowed to join in on the fun again, but while the single woman rate remains $10, single men have to pay $100 (up from $40 on Thursdays), and couples get in for just $30

-Saturday nights are Sexy Hot Evenings, and only couples and single women are allowed in the club

-As a private club, a membership is required (prices are $80 for a couple, or $80 for single men and women, so it pays to be a couple)

-Sundays after a statutory holiday are the club's BDSM, Fetish, Lifestyle nights where the rules are slightly different (please check the club's website to make sure that you're able to handle the extreme levels of pleasure, and sometimes pain that happen during Public Disgrace evenings

CONCLUSION:

We had head so much about L'Orage Club from our fellow swinging travellers, and when we got there, we thankfully wren't let down. There were gorgeous people everywhere you looked, and thankfully thy were all very easy to talk and play with.

Even though we had read the club's website, and knew that the club was more about public play and voyeurism, we really expected there to be at least one or two private rooms for if we wanted to get a little private time, but in the end we didn't need it.

As one of the country's oldest swinger's club, and for being directly responsible for the legal battle that made sex clubs legal in Canada, Club L'Orage was a treat to go to not just for the sexy good times, but also for the historical relevancy. It's care that people within our community get to feel the magic of a spot that's responsible for the continuation of others being able to share their love with each other out in nice clubs, rather than weird baseball clubs.

Pros

L'Orage Club is an incredible swingers club, and my wife and I are tremendously happy to have visited it. Almost all of the people that we met (and played with) were both sexy, and very friendly. One woman that we played with asked if we could exchange contact information, but because we don't live anywhere close to each other, my wife decided to not do so. I think we both regret that decision now though. That's just to give you the idea of the quality of play and members that you'r bound to meet at the club.
  
On the night we attended, there had been a wine and tapas tasting party before the club's usual opening hours. We missed it, but the members that we spoke to about it assured us that it was really great, and that if we thought that a sex club wasn't the best place to have a wine and tapas tasting, then we'd maybe be right in most cases, but the wine was apparently all quite good, and either from local wineries, the Niagara region, or from all the way in France.
  
The play spaces in the club are quite nice, and very comfortable.
  
There's usually a bit of an adjustment period when you're n a city for the first time, and are meeting people at a swingers club to hook up with, but there wasn't any time before we were playing with another couple at Club L'Orage. The French are so friendly!

Cons

As I mentioned before, the fact that the club wasn't willing to reduce our membership price since we were only going to be at the club once before w had to fly back home was a bit ridiculous. Many swingers clubs around the world that pride themselves in being a tourist destination for lifestyle members understand that taking $80 for an annual membership that's only gong to be used once is a bit outrageous. If I receive an e-mail from them when our membership runs out, asking me to renew, I'm sure that I'll find a few choice words to share with them.
  
I wish that the club was open more than just 3 or 4 nights a week. I realize that this is becoming the common schedule for most swingers clubs because of the costs involved in running them, but it really irks me when would love to go and play with some other couples on a Tuesday or Wednesday night, but are told that those aren't nights where it's allowed to have fun.

The discount that we received from the travel agency that the club partner's with wasn't very much money, but it was fine, I suppose. My wife was excited to jus save any money though since she knew I'd be spending elsewhere.

Aside from those small things, the fun that we had at Club L'Orage was really special, and it will definitely go down as one of our favorite sex clubs when it's all said and done.
