The prairies can get really cold in those winter months, so I'm not surprised that Calgary has a great community of people who want to get extra close to each other for warmth and everything else. -once you become a member and pay the annual fee ($40 for singles, $80 for couples), you can attend all events the club hosts (alternatively you can pay per event fees, which range from $20 to $80)

-smart casual is the appropriate dress attire (no torn jeans, shorts), unless of course you come in costume for one of the theme nights

-'wicked Wednesdays' always have erotic themes, like sexy games and gang bang/glory holes, and can get very sexual

-fabulous Fridays is a great weekly social event that welcomes singles, couples, and everyone across the LGBTQ and BDSM spectrum, and is always held at the same location in a discreet area in Calgary

-'swinger Saturdays' are focused around couples who live a polyamorous and open lifestyle

-the links on their website provide a great list of other resources in the swinger and sex community, from other clubs to sex toy stores

When it comes to hot nights in Calgary, I'm glad that I don't have to wait for June anymore. Joining the Calgary Adult Playground Club was one of the best decisions my partner and I have made about our relationship, because knowing that each of us are free to explore our sexuality as we see fit has only made us closer. Being able to live out our fantasies on a regular basis, and so close to where we live and work is amazing, and the Calgary Adult Playground Club makes it easy to keep our adventures there private.

Sex clubs can always be a bit daunting, but the kind and courteous staff here always made us feel like we belonged, and that of course also goes for all the members we've met over the last year. It's so easy to have a lot of fun here, and that's thanks in part to some of the great theme nights that the organizers schedule, especially their Wicked Wednesdays (giving a whole new meaning to humpdays, of course!).
