INTRODUCTION:
When it comes to sex and dating advice, I'd always relied on my girlfriends for the longest time. It make the most sense because they knew me better than anyone. But then there's some things about yourself that you might not want to share with anyone who knows you (usually something that involves some kinky bedroom fantasies), and that's what the internet is typically for.
Unfortunately, I've found that a lot of forums and message boards that deal with sex out there have a very male-centric audience. And while that means I get quite a lot of attention there when they see on my profile that i'm a woman, I feel like I'm not going to get much help from another female's perspective. So I actually talked to a friend of mine about not being able to find much help online, and that made all the difference because she mentioned the website FemaleFirst.co.uk. Like it's name suggests, it take a women-centric focus to all sorts of issues, including sex and relationships.

ABOUT:
FemaleFirst.co.uk is a huge news and culture website - a bit like buzzfeed, actually - that looked at everything from the position of what a modern woman would want to read about. Right along the top of the main page, the sections range from entertainment to relationships to news to fashion. Also up there is the link to the discussion board, which is a massive relationship forum, with almost one hundred thousand unique members. And that number makes all the difference, because it means all the sub-forums here are going to be very busy, because there's always thousands of people online, commenting and chatting about everything under the sun (from movies to weather to politics).
This means that sex and dating (and hooking up) are not exactly the focus on this site, but with so many people using it, those sub-forums certainly get a lot of attention as well. They're great places to go to read up on what other people might be trying in bed, or how successful they are on dates or in relationships (and things aren't going well, it's a good place to get helpful, practical advice). Wanting to discuss my kink, I decided to register, which was free, and required me to create a profile for myself, where I could mention as much or as little about myself as I wanted.
There were already posts in the 'bedroom chat' sub-forum about fetishes, but I still created my own thread, and it wasn't long before I got replies in there, all chiming in from other members saying they felt the exact same way, and we all started sharing a lot more. It was a great experience, and now I visit this forum frequently to talk about what turns me on.
