Pros

One of the awesome things about CollegePassions.com is the fact that you can not only join any group chats you want, but you can also join as many as you want as well! Chat in numerous groups all at once and get your voice and opinion heard by tons of different members. I personally love the chat groups as opposed to the forums because they are more lively with quicker paced conversation and instant messaging. The forums are still great, but I would recommend those more for people who like to write out longer thoughts and communicate them as posts rather than instant messages. Another great thing about this site is the sheer number of other college students that are apart of the community! With so much action constantly going on around the site, there is always something fun that you can hop into. Whether its a webcam chat, a forum, friending and meeting new people, or checking out individual profile pages, you will always be caught up in something new and exciting. What I like most about this site is how easy it is to upload pictures, videos, and any other media you may want to share. It is easy to customize your profile with photos and other personalized options so you can really make it your own. I would highly recommend uploading pictures to your profile, as you will attract many more connections when people can put a face and a smile to your messages and profile!

One of the things that I would say CollegePassions.com can improve on is its security and scanning for fake or dormant profiles. While there are tons of active members on the site at all times, sometimes some accounts just feel fishy, or you will get a message that feels like it could be from a fake profile. So it would be nice if all of those could be eradicated, but as with all major social networking sites with tons of users, there are always bound to be some of those I suppose. Another things that this site could improve on is its usability on different platforms. It has a great desktop interface but it would be even more amazing if they have a mobile version or even better, a fully developed downloadable mobile app. While you can still somewhat seamlessly access the site from your smartphone or tablet (which I do all the time when I'm on the go), it would just make it all more simple and clean to have an actual app to connect to and have it all set up perfectly to whatever device you are using at any given time. With so many members, I'm sure they would only continue to benefit from making the sites accessibility even easier than it is now. Lastly, it would be cool to have even more customization with the site as far as picking themes or changing backgrounds. This would add even more of a personal touch because after a while the white background can grow boring.
