INTRODUCTION:
There's something about EmoForum.de that immediately draws you in. For me it was the modern layout and look, the bright yet sophisticated colors and the fact that it seemed alive and full of action. I landed on it after a referral from a German friend of mine in my History class at school. The first day I checked it out, I didn't come by expecting too much. I've been on forums before, especially emo forums, and some of them have been super disappointing. So it was my wildest surprise when EmoForum.de turned out to be way better than I'd expected. The German text on the website scared me at first. I am fluent in German, but I hadn't expected it to be in German. Anyhow I soldiered on and introduced myself. The response was overwhelming. Maybe it was because it was over the Christmas holiday, but I received more than 10 responses to my post. Later on, I explored the forum, seeking out its existing topics and features. Suffice to say I was pleased with what I saw. Nothing felt too hard to do on the platform, and getting around was super easy. It was a wonderfully emo platform, without shame or hiding. The forums themselves are sectioned off under different aspects of emo culture, so from the very beginning you know you know you're in the right place. I later took a break from the site for about a week, and when I got back, there were messages waiting in my inbox on the forum. People were asking for me, wondering where I'd gone. It was the nicest that's happened to me in a long time.
ABOUT:
The internet is filled with many forums, and even more that are dedicated to emo people and emo culture. Not all such forums are worth mentioning; among the few that deserve credit is one that stands out: EmoForum.de. EmoForum.de is a website dedicated to emo culture in its entirety. It is essentially a platform where emos can meet on the internet, with all the discussion happening in the website's main location, the EmoForum.de. EmoForum.de has been active since the early 2000s, using its unique design and safe atmosphere to encourage emos to log on and share the feelings, fears and deepest secrets. Since its inception, the website and the forum have both been in German. The site requires that users create an account so that they become full members, before they can use the platform to its fullest. The forum is designed with different sections related to different sections of emo culture such as music, style and more. Members can create new topics by starting new topics under a specific forum, or by looking up existing forums and joining the discussion. Because of its more modern design, navigating the website is easier, as it's got menus everywhere and active links.
EmoForum.de also allows any form of content in its forums, whether photos, videos, GIfs and more. In order to prevent trolling and abuse on the site, the forum's management has forum moderators in place to keep watch.
EmoForum.de is completely free, so there is no exchange of credit card information or requests for payments anywhere on the site.
