Pros

FetishWombat.com has so many great features, despite the fact that it's a fairly casual site.
  
First off, I was very impressed with how seemingly lighthearted the site's vibe was. Online dating really needs this sort of alternative site that doesn't take itself too seriously. Even though there's certainly some parts of BDSM that involves a stern face, I think that most sex is best had when it's fun, and the participants are enjoying themselves. There's nothing fun about putting on a weird porno-inspired mean mug during sex. So the cartoon wombat sets the tone of the site perfectly.
  
The number of members is really impressive, and the fact that the site has expanded itself to reach out to other countries in the world through its international 'Wombat' sites, means that it's probably a site to keep your eye on.
  
All of the dates and hookups that I've had through the site have been really enjoyable. My first hookup was definitely the best of them, and we're going to get together again soon, but I've been having a blast using the site's settings which allow me to change the fetishes that I'm interested in. The lack of ability to know who's viewed your member profile, and know who's online at any given time is something that I wish was corrected. Of course neither are required features, but they're features that I've seen on other dating sites, that I really enjoy, and just wish they were here. Knowing that information makes getting quicker responses from members a lot easier, which allows users to get out on the town meeting and playing with each other faster.
  
The site's fairly basic design is far from an eyesore but it's also not the slickest design I've ever seen. There are also a lot of features like member blogs, that other sites offer, that I'd love here especially because of the quality of the membership. I've met, hooked up with, and chatted with so many interesting people, and it would be great to have a section of the site where they were able to fully express themselves and share stories about their experiences and expertise. There's certainly some room for that in parts of the site, but it's not as big a part of the community as you might expect it to be.
