I have not been disappointed for a single second when I was on the site and would join again without a second thought. I love that every time when I was on the site I was guaranteed to find matches with members who are like me and want to get laid too! I have to say that I've had so much good luck that this will be my only online dating site to use from now on.   • Quick Search Box: The quick search box that altscene.com has is great because you can quickly search by location. gender, sexuality, age range and even favorite music. Better yet if you can't think of the band or music genre that you're interested in, then the search box will suggest options based on the first few letters that you start to type in the field.

  • Tons Of Emo Members: I couldn't be happier with the results that I've had using altscene.com. There are so many emo members who are online at any given time that it's never been difficult for me to find someone who wants the same things as me out of date or hookup.

  • Easy To Search For Matches: The site is easy to navigate around which means it was easy for me to find matches on my own terms when it fancied me. I never had a problem getting a date or two or three that were a great match for me and that I choose rather than one of the matches that were made for me. Sure those are still great as well, but sometimes it's nice to choose someone that I wanted to go out on a date with.

  • Altscene.com has a few CONS that need to be noted. They're not going to keep me from using the site, but they are things that bothered me. Check them out:

  • Everyone Can See Your Photos: Altscene.com allows everyone to see all the photos that you've posted. Many dating sites only let the members that you choose to see the pictures that you've posted on your profile but unfortunately not on altscene.com. On this site, all members can see all of your pics all the time. Not a big deal but it sure is a nice added feature that other sites offer.

  • Site App Needs Work: The app for altscene.com is okay but I found that while I was using it there were glitches. The app stopped working on several occasions and actually booted me out completely to the point where I had to open it up again, which was kind of frustrating. I also found that finding matches wasn't as easy using the app as it is on the full website version of the dating site. To me, it doesn't really matter because I use my laptop far more than my cell phone to find matches on the dating site but I know that I am probably in the minority when it comes to that so I hope for the sake of other users that there is more work into making sure that using the app is just as good as using the website to find emo singles to date.
