Not only were the stories nearly too good, but they were also long and seriously worth reading. I come from a nerdy background, so I read a lot, so maybe that's why I fell for the length, but there you are. And they were quite many, the stories themselves. Not the handful I'd found on another site, many of which were riddled with errors and sounded like badly conjured fantasies. Simpler tastes might require deeper searching. At some point, I was also bummed out by the no-photo-anywhere atmosphere; I'd have loved an image at least once between the long stories.
