Visiting DiscreetWritings.com was certainly one of the most pleasant surprises I've had when scouring the internet for great sex story sites. It definitely has the look and design of a site that's been around for a very long time, and the fact that it's suddenly free to use because the members area is available to anyone is a wonderful surprise. Almost like the 'bank error in your favor' card in monopoly. Pros

My experience on DiscreetWritings.com was an unusual one, because what quickly became the best part of the site seems to either an accident or an oversight that I'm not sure is ever going to be corrected. In short, the site is now completely free, which is great because free hot sex stories are better than paid-for hot sex stories. And yes, it's better because going in expecting to pay, and then finding out you don't have to is an even better feeling. Just clicking on the members area link and going there, without having to sign up or enter anything or see the 'access denied' window makes you feel a bit like a hacker. Regardless of how well the site is now maintained - if the members gate is no longer working, it's hard to say - there are still some really good ideas the site promotes for being - as its name suggests - 'discreet'. The webmasters really promoted the idea of using this site 'on the go', and promises no images in the members area, so no one will know exactly what you are actually reading or looking at if you're in public. The stock photos on the front page showing people reading - sometimes off their phones, sometimes with a notebook or random pieces of paper - in public places underscores this. I don't know if I'd ever try to read printed sheets of sex stories in public, although the idea of it is rather exciting.

After exploring the story sections quite a bit (because it's now free), I realized that if I actually paid the forty dollars a month, I would feel that the money isn't really worth it.
