I've got Cerebral Palsy. Most women, without even giving themselves a chance to meet and know me would ignore me after I tell them. Well, I hope you're not that kind of person. Many of my friends will often comment that they forget that I'm disabled for several reasons. 1. I don't make my disability the focal point of my life and who I am. 2. Of course there are some things that I can't do, but I don't focus on what I CAN'T do, but rather focus on the things that I CAN DO! 3. I drove from Fresno, CA. to here on my own. So now you know that I drive and have my own vehicle. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work(which was no walk in the park). I was only one of seven graduating students of around 3,000 nominated for the Dean's Medal. I graduated with a G.P.A of 3.83. So the only limits I have are the ones I put on myself or those that society tries to impose on me. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you give me and yourself a chance to know me, you could easily look beyond the Cerebral Palsy and end up with a very nice, kind-hearted person.
