I was deemed too Jewish & the Mural was removed I was born a Catholic and became a Saturdayist Buddhist A sect of Buddhism I founded based on the belief in Saturday. I believed in Saturday because as a it was the one thing that made sense. Saturday Id play football or baseball with friends. Wed play army or fly kites but mostly it was baseball. Wed play on Sunday, but I didn't believe in Sunday as much as Saturday cause Sunday I had to attend church. Growing up, nothing I did felt less believable or more fantastic then that. My belief in Saturday got me into trouble with my art career down south so I switched to writing. A typewriter was more compact then huge canvases paint cans & thinners It made more sense when I had to leave town in a hurry. I remain a writer.
