I was born and raised in Austin. I'm quite shy when I meet somebody for the first time and need coaxing to come out of my shell. I'm not a very active person but would love to meet somebody that is to inspire me to be more active and therefore healthier. I went to both the University of Texas and Texas A&M University, which I know is an odd combination considering that they are bitter rivals. I got a degree in mathematics from the University of Texas and a degree in meteorology from Texas A&M University. I absolutely love weather and even thought about making a career out of it, but I was unwilling to leave Austin to pursue it since I love it here so much. Currently, I work for an insurance company, which I'm not wholeheartedly interested in with respect to a career so I'm ever looking for a job that is the right fit for me. I'm looking for someone that is more outgoing than I am to help bring me out of my shell and I'm fully confident I can find that "right" person out there if I'd just look around. The hardest thing for me to do is to just put myself out there for someone to meet, which is exactly what I'm trying to do now.
